This is great. However, is there an example of doing this but putting the event details into the message body of an email?
I tried the following:

 Event/EventData/Data[@Name='EventDetails']

And:

 cc
Error event logged to CEDRUploadConsol Event Log - $(EventDetails)
 xx
 xx
 $(EventDetails)

The $(EventDetails) variable was blank in the message subject and the actual text "$(EventDetails)" was in the body. Neither time did it actually relay the information.

Thanks,
Matt

I have solved my problem... it looks like Notepad on Server 2008 R2 (other not tested) has some bug with unicode, since editing on server exported task with notepad on Win7 x64 and then import on server works just fine.

Thanks for this post. You added just enough to Otto's post to help me add some parameters I was trying to track.
