		<description>Great post, exactly what I needed to guide me through getting the VM Additions working.

Would you be so kind as to explain what you did when you &quot;removed the symbolic link to S30vmadd-scsi from the folders : /etc/rc.d/rc3.d/ and /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/ so my machine donâ€™t load the VM Addtions for the SCSI interface.&quot; as I&#039;m getting FAILED error on boot and would love to also remove it, but have no idea what is meant by that or what to do (the only linking I&#039;ve done is with ln and rm usually does the job there).
