As of this week I am running Vista and Office RTM versions. So I found it is time to start protecting the data on my laptop. Of course I first installed Vista out of the box. Next, I followed the instructions for creating an extra 1.5 GB partition (shrink is a nice feature in disk mgmt). I even activated the TPM module on my chip via the BIOS setting. But now I am stuck.
According to the help documentation I should have created the partitioning in advance or during the Vista install. This is because the small partition contains the system data and the large volume the Vista Windows folder, data, etc.
But I do not want to reinstall, I just installed Vista! And I wassn’t asked if I like Bitlocker for my laptop protection during install. But now I have to, unless you can guide me through it!!
So the question is: is there a way to activate bitlocker from scratch after you install out-of-the-box Vista?
Thanks, Paul

Try BDD 2007 RC1 you can download it at connect. It will do all the work for you and you build your own unattended Vista deployment
Some people call it RDX
Cheers
